Tonight at UFC Fight Night 169 the vacant UFC flyweight title is on the line. Henry Cejudo vacated the belt in December. For this belt Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo face off. Cejudo is the new UFC bantamweight title-holder.

In his previous two UFC title fights Benavidez failed to win the 125-pound title. After his most recent chance of winning UFC gold he's gone 9-1. It took Benavidez about six years to earn his third chance at the crown, despite that. With that, if Benavidez falls short, then there's a fair chance he won't get another chance to compete for a UFC belt. As for Figueiredo, it's his first shot at the UFC title.

A WEC / UFC member since 2008, Benavidez is the sentimental favorite in this series.

Figueiredo is the bout's underdog but he's not a substantial underdog. Benavidez is a -145 favorite as of this writing and Figueiredo is a + 115 underdog.

UFC Fight Night 169 takes place Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia, at the Chartway Arena. The entire card streams to ESPN+ starting at 8 p.m. with the main card. After prelims at 5 p.m. ET ET.
